Victoria B: My Short-term Miracle.

Hi Everyone,

I'll take all the ideas you have. A miracle happened today. We have until the end of the Month (the 31st) of Jan instead of the 13th. Doesn't seem like much but is a hugh difference in our minds. That is a big weight off of our shoulders. Now if I may ask for advice this is the new deal: They will let us stay -- no $ (we don't care) but we have to sign a new CFK. Should we sign it or can they go back on the deal and use the one we signed under "duress" to be out by the 13th.

I am tired of signing things and not understanding them. So any help anyone can give on this particular thing would be appreciated. I need to take one thing at a time.

Ocwen doesn't really care -- they just want their money and my son is trying to find a way to work it. It's slow going but we are still here. Most of our stuff is moved out however just in case. My son's attorney says to stay put since there is a "tentative" agreement of sale. However, the real estate agent that they have as a go between won't leave us alone. Now he wants us to accept $1,000 to move out (which was taken off the table before). We are very hesitatant to sign anything again. Not sure what the next step will be but I am glad I have this site to keep coming back to. It helps to know that we are not alone and there is a support group out there. Thanks again!

You have to find that source of strength in order to get through this difficult time. Join us in the chat room when you settle in after the trade show. We want to hear more details so we can figure out what is going on with your house. Worst case scenerio, we want to put our minds together to figure out alternative housing options and a relocation plan.
