Hello Everyone,

My story is much like everyone's here. I took out a mortgage in 2000, refinanced in 2001 withwaht I thought was the same company but turned out to be countrywide. Of course MERS was listed on the mortgage as nominee, we fell behind due to my husband being hurt on the hurt on the job, and deaths in the family. Needless to say I have been trying to obtain a modification only to be taken on the paper chase. Earlier this year MERS assigned my mortgage to BONY into a Reperforming loan remic trust 2003-r4. First things I noticed is the year of the trust I was placed in. I was placed in a 2003 trust in 2012. Aren't they supposed to be closed. The second is the assignment is from Core Logic (not countrywide or BOA), signed by Assistant Secretary Youda Crain who is an independant Contractor, and notorized by a Y.Jody Yvonne Cabrera who has a diffrent notary number on her notary seal than whats recorded on the Secretary of State for California. Can someone scream fraud.

Other have 'lost' their house [I did: lost rental houses] In these cases I was 'self represented' (ProSe/ProPer/SuiJuris/Etc)

If we all got 'free houses': it would destroy the crunched economy we now have. However, banks/lenders should not be allowed to violate the same laws they lobbied to enact.

Hence: if someone bought their house 'no-down' and now whine because it went down in value OR if someone used their house as an ATM to get a new boat/car/vacation/etc: They should 'lose the house'.

There are those who paid a down payment and kept equity.  To those I say: don't let the bank cheat you...!!!
