Comment by stopGOVTwaste on March 5, 2010 at 8:27am: Currently in Brevard County the Clerk of Court IS the Comptroller... but he is an appointed constitutional officer so the Board of County Commissioners cannot audit his office without his permission. The County seeks to change that.
