An American Tragedy

There are so many American homes that have been foreclosed upon in the past years it disgusts ME. A major portion, of which, have been wrongfully foreclosed upon. This in itself is An American Tragedy.

Millions. YES, Millions, upon millions, upon millions. That's how many American homes have been foreclosed in the past many years. Think about these families, many emplotyable and able bodied men and women, some w/ children and some without, and for the first time, coping with sustained unemployment, without savings, without alternative housing options, all possible income sources drained. It could be me. One hardship life event and, it could be you or one of your loved ones.

Why? Why is this happening? Did America suddenly fill up with scumbag deadbeat homeowners who ditched their financial obligations without a concern for the roofs over the heads of their families? I definitely think not!

You see, the loan was hawked by middlemen who got a hefty commission. The worse the loan, the higher the commission. Then, as soon as the documents were signed, that hucksters were on the phone with Wall Street investment firms demanding payment for the amount of the loan. Upon receipt of that money, the crooks sent the documents up the befouled river. More middlemen, one Wall Street Company after another, grabbed onto those documents, each taking a cut of the commission as they set it to sail again.

The next destination was a fund owned by investors. Many were foreign banks, some were US mutual funds for 401K’s, education savings, nest eggs etc. Now, as the foreclosures happen, these foreign banks and US fund investors are broke. Guess who the "BAIL-OUTS" helped? Hint: Not the American families, not the US fund investors.

Now, back to the eviction of millions of Americans from their homes. You see, it's not those investors(or NOT) who are initiating the foreclosures. Nope, they are left out in the cold just like those evicted families. It's those middlemen who are bringing those foreclosure actions, selling off the foreclosed homes and keeping the proceeds.

If you, An American Citizen, get a foreclosure notice:

1) Do not leave your home, and, if you have already left your home,

2) File a complaint with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Any State Attorney's General offices,or any other agency you deem necessary,

3) Arm yourself with education as you defend your home from illegal intruders and criminal home thieves,

4) Educate yourselves and demand that the bank(s) that want to take your home and toss you out onto the street have the RIGHT to do so.
