Supporting, Informing & Connecting People in Foreclosure
This bill is set for a vote in Committee this week and the Democrats will be the ones to squash it. From a good source I understand the Committee Chair, Representative Angela Williams is listening to the American Bankers Association. She is trying to tell homeowners that have lost their home that the bill is too broad. If you live in Colorado take a moment and call Representative Angela Williams especially if you live in District 7.

This is by far the best explanation of the foreclosure crisis I have heard. I take exception to a couple of things he said like the property taxes stop being paid. The servicers continue to pay the taxes but they are charged to the investors and or pension funds. I also take exception to his comment about JPMorgan Chase having the best documentation in the business. But by and large he nails it. When awareness like this becomes common knowledge that is when we will see…
ContinueThis is an important story that is being overlooked by the media because most cannot grasp the evil methods of Goldman Sachs. We would never do anything like this and we cannot fathom how anyone else could do this. Litton Loan prior to being taken over by Goldman was actually pretty good about working with homeowners but once the "vampire squid sucking on the face of humanity" got their tentacles into Litton Loan they stopped all modification and ordered them to move forward with…

The Douglas County Sheriff along with Cynthia Lowery-Graber and a locksmith and movers waited until Kris left to drive his kids to school and went in changed his locks and put everything on the street despite the fact that Quiet Title was pending and an appeal of the Order Granting Writ of Restitution and an Emergency Motion for Order Staying Writ of Restitution were pending. Washer, Dryer, couches and beds and all appliances were stolen. He tried to get a locksmith to change locks back;…
ContinueThis is an excellent article on REMICs (Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduits). It basically says that the 12 dirtiest banks may owe close to a trillion dollars in back taxes. This is because in order to benefit from tax exempt status for their REMICs they must be moved into the trust within 90 days. As we are all aware that never happened in most cases. This is definitely a story to follow.

This is a three hour viewing and a must see.
A Paula Gloria banking fraud special with Randy who has had experience with Banking fraud first hand when he was defrauded by a "Bank", lost his home and lived on the E train for years while studying law to fight his case and M. Nawaz Raja who produced 20 boxes of 20 large files (one of which he shows on camera) for his own case where his signature for a half million dollar "loan" produced around $92 million in unsecured and illegal bonds…

Here's some good information on whether a note is negotiable or non-negotiable. Most if not all mortgage notes are non-negotiable.
"The irrelevance of negotiability to home-mortgage note transactions is best demonstrated by the fact that the standard form of promissory note used for those transactions fails to satisfy the requirements of negotiability. Because of the strong interest in uniformity in the large securitized home-mortgage note transactions, Fannie Mae and…

Here's the link to a case that has been appealed to the Colorado Supreme Court. What is wrong with the judicial system in Colorado that they overwhelming favor the banks and can't even allow a QTA to move forward.
This case was amended and you can find the changes here.

The ballot initiative in Colorado is one step closer to reality. Of course the banks aren't too happy and tried to slow it down but it didn't work I'm happy to report. Please if you are a resident of Colorado and you can donate anything the Colorado Progressive Coalition is heading this up and could use financial support.
