The Arrival of the Absurd

So, we tried sending these two bullies out to the back yard where they were instructed to contemplate their bad behavior, stop picking on those smaller and weaker than themselves, and learn to play nice.

Apparently, that tactic didn't work out so well!

For Thanksgiving: A Sermon on the Economy

Although my own spiritual beliefs are deeply private, undefinable, evolving, and not fully ascribed to any one doctrine; in September I had the great fortune of hearing Reverend Jonathon Page speak this sermon to my delighted ears.

I regard the biblical figure, Amos, a role model, as I aspire to follow in his activist shoes.

Cry ‘Havoc,’ and let slip the dogs of war

Foreclosure Predictions: Almost 4 million actions all told in 2009. Seventeen million to come in the four years from 2010 and 2014.

Again I say, "History will not be kind to these times in America. May G-D help us all."

And now, I defer to William Shakespeare, the great dramatist, who spoke to the ultimate timeless concerns of humankind.

After the assassination of Caesar in the Senate, Anthony enters and confronts the conspirators. He pretends to… Continue

My story to the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Court.

It started on Wall Street. Things not under my control. Financial instruments called Credit Default Swaps and Mortgage Backed Securities. Instruments created by physicists who joined Wall Street, and created greed machines for their masters. They crashed the global economy.

My wife and I have owned a Design Studio for the last 23 years. Our contracts come from Fortune 500 companies. For our company it started in mid September when all business came to a halt. Jobs that were scheduled… Continue

Freddie Mac? Care to Supersize That by Adding A Biggie Side of Lies?

Filed_10-15-2009_Freddie_Mac.pdf

Please first read the above linked comment to the Florida Supreme Court by Robert Bostrom, Executive VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary to Freddie Mac.

FIRST OF ALL, SIR, have you meandered down to the local courthouse lately? Happen to peruse the complaints filed by the servicers of Freddie Mac Mortgage… Continue

Walk of Shame for you, Miami Appeals Court Judge Alan Schwartz! TRUDGE ON SIR!

I will come back to edit & pretty up this post. (Note added 02/10: I never did edit this.)

In the meantime, I'm livid! He actually writes that "benevolence and compassion" have no place in the halls of justice?

Yeah, well, we are living that, Judge Schwartz! And with all due respect, let me tell you something, Sir..........it ain't pretty!

We wouldn't need "benevolence and compassion" if we hadn't been royally plundered in a fraudulent scheme to… Continue

REVENGE

"MORAL HAZARD". The Politician’s use the term Moral Hazard refers to things that affect ordinary people, and a good example is the Bankruptcy Cram Down Bill that came to a vote in Congress but was voted down. The objection given was that it would create Moral Hazard. People would file for Bankruptcy even if they could afford to pay what they legitimately owed in order to get a write down on their mortgage.

Our Politicians have no idea what occurs in the real world. They just have two… Continue

The Basics: How to avoid solving a problem.

Subtitled: Semper Augustus. Oh, how we valued you!

When I read something that simply stops me in my tracks, stuns me into a brain-numbed state, enshrouds me in cloak of disbelief; it brings to mind the question "What varieties of mind altering substances were ingested by the creator of that idea?"

Here's a PERFECT example.

The government’s current Making Homes Affordable program for mortgage… Continue

My Legal Education #1

I knew nothing.

That was dangerous!

Now, I know a little more than nothing.

Supposedly that's even more dangerous!

You know, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing."

Yeah. Well. There's another saying.

"A man who represents himself (in court) has a fool for a client and a fool for a lawyer."

Let's hear it for the Pro Se… Continue

Rushed Update

I know my blog is horribly neglected.

I have SO much to write about!

I am incredibly busy doing all manner of anti Illegal-Unethical-Immoral-Foreclosure activities I can't seem to eek out the time to archive my experiences.

There are a lot of good posts that haven't been written (yet).

My Foreclosure Story

Usually when I am asked about my foreclosure I start in 2008 when the economy crashed. My business crashed along with the rest of the economy. Now, a year later, When I explain my situation I am finding that I sometimes get a blank look from the person I am talking to. To me the blank look means the economic crash either was not relevant to them or they have a very short memory. The blank look is always distressing because I realize the passion and anger is dissipating and without the anger and… Continue

Florida Residents - Lets help each other!! Updates on where we are in the Foreclosure Process.

Ok - the intent of this blog is for Florida Residents to help each other defend our homes. To participate, start by writing specific details about where you are in your case. If you have questions, feel free to ask those too. That way we can compare and share.

Florida Default Law Group (FDLG) filed the foreclosure on me in July 2007. I was served in Nov 1997 more than 120 days since the filing of the suit. My initial pleading was a motion to dismiss for lack of service (more than 120… Continue

Affidavit of Lost Assignment

This is my first blog post. I live in South Florida.

A request of mine for the mortgage company to produce the note instead got me a affidavit of lost assignment. Citimortgage is claiming they lost the assignment.

I'm going to visit the courthouse tomorrow(I've been there one other time) and check what is there.

Also note the affidavit I received from Citimortgage's attorney was
