Homeowner-Borrower Carr was foreclosed upon in California.
In fighting the UD (unlawful detainer or eviction) action Carr pulled the documents at the county recorder and discovered an assignment that was recorded from Home123 Corporation to US Bank in June of 2007.
Carr's Notice of Default was dated 4-12-2007 so the assignment was recorded several months after the NOD. California is a non-judicial foreclosure state.
