Supporting, Informing & Connecting People in Foreclosure
Did you North Carolinian's know that Charlotte, NC has a FBI Mortgage Fraud Task Force and it has been in our state since 2006. FBI Mortgage Fraud Report lists North Carolina as one of the top states “significantly affected” by mortgage fraud.
Wow! So why has our state media, legislative officials or Homeowners been so quiet about this Mortgage Fraud and Fraudulent foreclosure issue? Mums the word! We have to stop living in fear. This is exactly what they want us to do just walk away from our homes. Don't do it, lets stand together.

I'm in the same situation like you MtgefraudNC, there's no attorneys that "get it"here in Raleigh, just one per cent of them, and their very busy, plus im broke, so im gonna do it myself Pro se, and pray to God that the end result is satisfactory.
My hearing is june 20, and im wondering if i should wait to the hearing, or sue them a few days before it. If i wait after it, i hope is enough time(3 weeks) to get a Temporary Restraint Order before the July 11 foreclosure sale........
Yes, I'm excited to learn something is going on in N.C. I've complained to the AG about Bank of America and he basically says take it up with the Comptroller of Currency. I've also entered a formal complaint against the Union County Clerk of Courts, but since he's elected; not sure how far that will get.
Next step is the FBI.
I am from North Carolina as well, and have spent countless days trying to find an attorney in NC that gets it.
So far, no luck. The Clerk of Courts in my county is just a rubber stamp. I had one home foreclosed on, where no note was produced; in-fact, an old paid off note with Bank of America was what GMAC Mortgage used to get the foreclosure and the Clerk of Courts never even looked at it.
If you find an attorney in the state that gets it, please please let me know.
