Stuck In The Middle Again.
This poor Colorado couple refinanced their home, started making their payments to the new bank Met Life and got foreclosed on by their old bank Bank of America. You ask, how did this happen? Well, enters Bank number 3, non other than Chase. The title company who did the closing for the refinance deposited the escrow money in their company bank account at Chase and Chase was to do a simple transfer to BOA to pay off the first mortgage.
