Yesterday I posted this letter for Kimberly Miller of the Palm Beach Post to my personal blog at the below link. I hoped in futility that she would cast its message to the masses. Of course she won't. I'll try making my still, quiet voice heard at Foreclosure Hamlet, probably also futile.

I wrote the below letter to the Sarasota Sheriff. Note that a notice of Adverse Possession on DR452 to the county property appraiser strips the sheriff of the power to arrest the adverse possessor for trespass UNLESS he has a court order. He won't get that so long as the adverse possessor does not defraud any tenants he puts in the house such as by RENTING the place to them. The rightful owner must file a quiet title action or something similar to remove the adverse…
