My suggestion to everyone looking for these assignments is to go to your local clerk and recorders office,in some states you can do a title search, review public property and land records. This may be a place to start. Also you can do a background search through intellius, Some counties also have online access to records and you can search from their sight for a fee  there is also- http://www.docedge.com/ too.  In your search you want to look for other mortgage documents signed by this person, such as release of Deed of trusts

Thank you for the input. I just got the fax yesterday so today I will start the process. We are also going to go after GMAC as the employer who is responsible for the actions of the notary while in their employ doing notaries for the company.

You should also check the PA gov website to see if you have any recourse with the PA Dept of Insurance.  I'm having trouble getting the notary's bond company to pay up, so I'm now asking the CA Dept of Insurance to review my case (as is my right under CA law).  You should file complaints with the PA SOS Notary Division AND the Dept of Insurance.  You may also be able to file a complaint with the PA Dept of Professional Regulation.

No problem brother, help yourself and use them wisely. Check all of them out and plug in the state statutes and codes, where the notary is located.  Best of luck!

Thanks Don. I will get your complaint form.

Vince, You are in a very good position!  you now have a pretty good opportunity, to take away the bank presumption in the court.  All you need to do, now is write a complaint to the sos, preferably on a lawyer letter head for quicker response.  Once the notary is decommissioned it void the document, now you have standing in court.  That is my strategy, is to report, file and destroy the presumption.  Follow through with your complaint, I have a complaint form on my page if you like....GOOD JOB!

Don Don, I have a couple of example's of Mary Lynch notaries. She is with GMAC out of PA.

I requested copies of a notary journal from a notary in that same office and just yesterday the notary faxed me a letter saying she does not have any journal entries from the dates I requested. You might try the same thing. PA. requires all notaries to maintain a journal and they are public records which they have to provide upon request.

Oh, and the signer was Laura Hescott.

I'm also dealing with a notary filing false and forged documents in county recorder.  The notary name is Mary Lynch, from P.A.

I’ve had a Plaintiff submit a mortgage assignment signed by Treva Moreland (Title: Collateral Control Team Lead) on behalf of MetLife Home Loans, a Division of Metlife Bank, NA by IBM Lender Process Services, Inc. its Attorney in Fact and it is notarized by Jean Marie Rieder a notary public in the State of Oregon, Commission No. A420066, Expires September 4, 2011.

I’d be happy to fax you a copy if it would help you. I’m hoping you might fax me a copy of yours? And any others you might have come across? Please let me know what you’ve discovered. I want to file a motion to strike their affidavit, so your help would be very much appreciated.
