I suggest you contact Colorado Department of State and see if you can open a copy of their notary application; which is available for Florida notories.

Hello,

I don't have fraudulent docs from the 4 people you mentioned, BUT I do have some from a man who claims to be the VP of Specialized Loan Servicing LLC ("SLS") in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. His name is Darren Bronaugh. Interestingly enough, several of the addresses we came up with in our searches of the signers and the notaries included Littleton, CO...perhaps there is a connection there. I picked up the phone one day and called the company he claims to work for, and asked for him by name. What I got was a nervous man, whom I could never prove was the person I had asked to speak to. What I should have done was ask for the VP, and THEN asked what his/her name was. I've heard you should also do a search (or if you can do so...an investigation) into the "notaries" who are part of this problem, as they sign for multiple signers and who claim to "personally know" the people they are signing for! We are from CA and found out recently that it is illegal now in CA for a notary to notarize anything for someone they "personally know". The CA notary who told us this said that it will probably be that way nationwide before long "because of all the fraud". You may want to check into that, too. On one doc we found, the same exact address and suite no. was given for SLS and was given on another doc in another case for MERS! Isn't that odd? They probably did not expect people to be "comparing notes" and addresses! We are interested in Darren Bronaugh, the signer on 3 of the docs that initiated us into the foreclosure nightmare, but let me know if you find out anything serious about the "phenomenon" of fraudulent signers! My theory is that these signers and the companies they represent are hoping we will lose our cases and be rendered homeless before we ever catch up to them, and if we do, the state courts are not going to truly care enough to listen to our arguments long enough for anything to be done about it...so prove them wrong! Go get them! I'm rooting for you!

I am so glad I found this page.  I hope it is still active.  I have a Limited Power of Attorney which was signed by Stephen Peletz, Vice President, Aurora Loan Services LLC

The document was witnessed by Tina M. Tesch and Jason Fischer.  It was notarized by Rana Serna
