Supporting, Informing & Connecting People in Foreclosure
Anyone else with BankUnited? working on case with BankUnited--I know the original bank was BankUnited, FSB, FDIC took it over last year and now the newly formed BankUnited (no relationship to BankUnited FSB as I understand) is listed as Plaintiff--no other information provided on summons--does anyone know the law of a bankrupt bank (as in BankUnited, FSB) and forclosure procedure? somewhere I remember reading that the foreclosure would be on hold until after the bankruptcy is over?
I know they check this site--said so in court--GOOD WORK--i KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN--i HAVE HAD A WIN with the new BU, BUT AM CONCERNED WITH BACKLASH IF ATTORNEYS FIND GLOATING!
Just keep fighting the fight!

BankUnited's witnesses did not show up for trial. The Judge dismissed the case.
CONGRATS!!!!!Great--why do you think they didn't show up?--did the attorney show up?--
Well, it is not my case. However, i have the same players involved in my case. The attorney for BU did show up, but no witnesses. The attorney claimed that they all got the flu. The judge said, that BU should have been able to send someone to this trial, and got upset that the whole afternoon was reserved for this case and now they can't move forward. So he just dismissed the case without prejudice.
Is anybody here actively have a case ongoing with BU in FL. ?
Hey Pro Se. . .Good for you. . .I've been fighting Bu for two years now. . .had my MSJ thrown out and BU has cancelled three MSJ hearings. . .for no obvious reason other than that they are maneuvering to substantiate their standing. Appears most courts are still on the side of the banks. Hang in there.
Yes! Fake VP signature on assignment as well as assignment recorded after 5/21/2009 (no LPOA) and after lis pendens filed. Need to file motion to strike or motion to dismiss with prejudice for fraud on the court! Help! where do I get outline for motion. can't afford attorney, doing this all on my own!
