Hearing Without Me

First thanks all for the valuable information.  I am a Floridian facing foreclosure going Pro Se and as soon as I received my complaint I realized I had a verification issue to be raised.  Well I prepared my Motion to Dismiss and a second Motion to Dismiss an Amended complaint and plaintiff's counsel scheduled a hearing for today.  Well i put on my Sunday best and headed to the court house.  The hearing was a court call but the Judge's site makes clear you don't have to use court call.  Well I went into the office and let the person working behind the counter know i was there and headed outside the office to wait to be called.  An attorney who was also checking in for the hearing after me also went outside.  A few minutes after my scheduled time this attorney asks me if i am waiting for them to call me, i said yes, she says they probably aren't going to call you so I zoom back into the office and ask the person behind the counter if I had been called yet.  She says no.  Next thing I know the deputy comes out and it turns out they had the hearing without me.  The woman tells the deputy I was there and the deputy goes back into the chamber.  he comes back and tells me it is a refile.  So I ask if it is the plaintiff who is going to refile and the deputy gives me the impression it is.  I immediately checked the docket and it is saying my motion was denied.  Now I am not sure if the deputy was telling me to refile the motions to dismiss or do I have to file an answer (as the order in the docket says).  Can one call the judge for clarification on this?
