Foreclosure Hamlet

Supporting, Informing & Connecting People in Foreclosure

Anyone have a referral to a lawyer in Michigan who is NOT totally clueless on this stuff AND willing to go up against the big banks?

I've talked to a half dozen already but none of 'em have any idea.

With all the foreclosures in Michigan I'd have THOUGHT at least ONE would be all over this by now.... anyone have a recommendation???

There are over 90 Michigan attorneys doing foreclosure listed at www.avvo.com

Then, you might want to take a look see here  http://coa.courts.michigan.gov/resources/asp/ViewDocket.asp?casenum...

See opinion at bottom of page.  Case is very similar to mine except that my investor/purchaser refused to transfer/issue payment without the promise of a quit claim/release from lender bank on payment in full which, in review of case law above (see Fassihi v Schwartz et, al.), they had a duty to provide. Had Ms. Howard had such to show the court she would not have sufferred the injustice caused by the fraud of the foreclosure mill and its attorney.
