Permalink Reply by L on November 25, 2010 at 11:37pm Ummm you got it ALL wrong. The institutions that have created HUGE INTENDED issues in the housing marketplace are the big banks.
Look in the titles....this is what this article is about. The banks have corrupted the land records across this great land. They did so and are being indemnified by the title companies. It is the biggest piece of corruption that is being slammed down unintended new homeowners. This land record corruption will be an intended issue for decades.
Please only post when you really have done your research. Since you haven't yet gotten into the R.E. market, there are articles on this website that will help people like you who are unknowing and could actually become future victims.

You should really spend this time researching what your putting out there,
this financial crisis/foreclosure crisis is no fault of what you call deadbeat homeowners. You should be thanking sites like this and also all the lawyers fighting the good fight to save the integrity of our public land records and keep shelter over the families that are being fraudulently thrown from their homes...
You want to talk about deadbeat homeowners, what would you say to the ones that were making their payments all along and are still facing losing their homes with no fault of their own, but to the irresponsible corrupt financial system we now have to deal with...
Count your Blessings that maybe you were spared of living the nightmare what we hard working "deadbeats" are now experiencing.
One day I would like to think that you will grow up or smarten' up which ever comes first, to the fraud all around us and join the fight to what obviously has you still with your head in the sand, and that we will have paved the way to exposing this fraud so the next generation can re-live the American Dream.
Further more, here at the Hamlet, we are use to people like you and for this, all I have to say is " If your not willing to stand and fight beside us then you need to go away"!!!
Best regards,
KT
Permalink Reply by Diane on May 31, 2011 at 11:03am I filed a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General regarding Bank of America illegal and fraudulent foreclosure and this was the response, not even signed:
Of course this is NC, home of BOA's headquarters; so didn't expect too much out of our elected officials.

Subject: Complaint against Bank of America
BOA is a national bank, chartered by the OCC, a federal regulatory agency under the US Treasury Department. You must file your complaint directly with the OCC by calling 800-613-6743.

Permalink Reply by DisabledDad on September 7, 2011 at 11:58pm I really hate to be A DEBBIE DOWNER, but I have sent this info to our California AG and the local DA not once but twice over the last year. The response each time was "We can't represent you in this civil matter, you need to hire an attorney". This was after fully explaining and providing multiple instances of fraud (THAT AINT CIVIL !)
S o if this is really happening in Cali I'd be very surprised
