Occupy Ft Lauderdale has begun an initiative, the Occupy Ft. Lauderdale Foreclosure Mobilization, to build a grassroots political force to fight on behalf of foreclosure victims NOW! Join us and our panel of housing rights and foreclosure fraud experts from Take Back the Land, City Life/Vida Urbana and Foreclosure Hamlet for an engaging presentation and Q & A on how we've succeeded, and our plans for moving ahead with building a bona fide movement for housing justice and bank accountability.

Foreclosures and the fraudulent schemes which accompany them are a nationwide scandal which began with sub-prime lending schemes and for the past five years have ended with the rubber-stamping of a judicial seal of approval leading to the evictions of hundreds of thousands of hard working American families from their homes. South Florida residents have been among the hardest hit in the entire country.
